A man has admitted driving dangerously through Wigan while under the influence of cocaine and cannabis.

Justices heard Adam Cunliffe, 28, of Worsley Hall, drove a Seat Alhambra dangerously through roads in Swinley, Wigan town centre and Poolstock while uninsured and without a licence on August 1. He tested positive for the class A and B drugs.

Cunliffe was released on unconditional bail pending his sentencing by a Bolton Crown Court judge on March 25 but was hit with an interim driving ban until then.
