Race hate schoolgirl punished

The 15-year-old Romanian national, who cannot be named, was found guilty after a trial by Wigan justices of the race hate incident in Leigh on May 3, although she admitted to an attack and causing £30 damage to a pillow in a Wigan Police Station cell. She must participate in indirect reparation for four days and there is £222 to pay in costs.
