Man denied sex stamped on girlfriend’s face
Paul Wolfe was in a temper because he had been drinking and his partner had refused his demand for sex when he returned home in the early hours.
Wolfe, 44, of Alpic Drive, Bispham admitted assault when he appeared at court.

Hide AdProsecutor, Alison Quanbrough, said the couple had argued in the past over Wolfe’s use of alcohol and cocaine and about their finances.
He had been out until the early hours and the following morning she said her partner was not looking after their son while she went to work.
He threatened to smash the house up if she and their son left.
“Wolfe began shouting and pushed her to the floor. She started to get up and he stood on the side of her face,” said the prosecutor.
The victim managed to call police and Wolfe was arrested.

Hide AdHis lawyer Steven Townley told the court: “My client accepts he did step on her face but says it is reckless rather than deliberate.”
Wolfe was given a 20 week jail term suspended for two years and made the subject of a two year community order.
