Police discover drug tent on golf course
Officers borrowed the vehicles to travel up to the fourth tee where they found a tent had been pitched at Heron’s Reach Golf Resort.
Inside, they found drug-related equipment and a baseball bat – but there was no sign of the person who left them there on Thursday.

Initial reports that the tent was left by a man wanted for assaulting a police officer were later found to be inaccurate.
PC Richard McKenna said: “It was a very odd job but this one of many strange things we do to make the streets safe.
“Big thanks to the De Vere for letting us borrow the golf buggies, otherwise it would have been a long walk.”
