A man kept more than £3,000 in credits to which he was not entitled.
Wigan justices heard Daniel Ward, 29, of Gordon Close, Worsley Hall, admit to four charges of failing to return public money paid in error.
He must complete 200 hours’ unpaid work and pay £175 in costs and a victim services surcharge.
