WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGE: Dog with tumour dumped at church
The RSPCA is appealing for information after Susie, who is around 14 years old, was found by a church volunteer outside St Barnabas Church, in Marsh Green, on Tuesday.
The animal charity said there is no knowing how long Susie has had the large tumour on her mammary gland but that dumping her in such a state was “a callous and disgusting thing to do”.

Hide AdRSPCA inspector Susie Micallef said: “Susie is in a bad way. She has a very large tumour on her mammary gland which could have potentially spread elsewhere.
“We cannot say for sure how long she has had this tumour for, but the likelihood is that she has been in pain and discomfort for a long time.
“There is a chance that she was dumped because she was so ill, which is a callous and disgusting thing to do.”
Susie, who is currently in the RSPCA’s care, was microchipped, however the details were not up to date and therefore the RSPCA has been unable to trace Susie’s owner.
