Adrian Lam says Wigan are doing everything they can to keep hold of Bevan French for 2021.

The Australian full-back linked with a return to his former NRL club Parramatta next season.

His hat-trick illuminated a stunning 58-12 win against Salford tonight, and Lam said: "He's been unbelievable and I think he'd only get better if we can keep him here.

"We're doing our best to keep him, it's quite well known he's getting a few bites from the NRL, but be reassured we've left no stone unturned in trying to keep him.

"It's not a done deal (that he will leave).

"We're working hard as a club to make sure he gets what he wants, but at the end of the day, Bevan has to make the decision."

French told Sky Sports the speculation had proved a distraction which he shook off early into the win against the Red Devils, and says his focus will be on the run-in over the next month.

"I've not made a decision yet," he insisted.
