Smith fit for Giant test

Tim Smith is finally ready to burst on to the scene this weekend.
Wigan Warriors' latest recruit is in line to face Huddersfield at the JJB Stadium on Friday.
And the 23-year-old Australian looks set to be handed a spell at scrum-half, while Thomas Leuluai switches to providing cover at hooker in place of Michael McIlorum who was banned last night.
Smith has recovered from the hamstring strain that forced him to miss the derby with St Helens last time out.
Coach Brian Noble had intended to hand the former Parramatta Eels player a stint against Saints operating off the bench, only to be thwarted by the injury picked up on the training pitch.
But these problems are in the past and Smith is back the frame, as is Pat Richards who was taken ill hours before the St Helens game.
Noble said: "Tim's impressed at training and there's every chance of him playing on Friday. Pat Richards should be a whole lot healthier too.
"We need to regroup after St Helens and get some more people on board."
Smith, a former winner of the prestigious 'Dally M Rookie of the year' award, is lauded as a naturally-skilled half-back with the ability to kick with precision accuracy.
Now Wigan fans are about to find this out for themselves.
McIlorum, who was dismissed just five minutes into the Saints clash for a high shot on Ade Gardner, was last night handed a two-match ban and fined £300.
But there was good news from the RFL disciplinary meeting too, as full-back Richard Mathers was found not guilty of striking in the same match and is free to face Huddersfield.
McIlorum will now not be available for selection until the game at Catalans on Saturday, August 9.
